With over 25 years in education, I understand the system from every angle. I hold degrees in business communications, general education, special education, and in leadership, master’s degrees in curriculum and instruction and special education P-12, and an education specialist degree in educational leadership and administration P-12. But my most valuable education came from navigating both the PreK-12 school system and the collegiate level as a parent to my two daughters.

Those experiences taught me that expertise means nothing without partnership. Parents know their children best, and every decision about their child’s education belongs to them-not the school, and not me.
